The Pentecostals of Alexandria’s New Website to Serve a Growing Church Community

New Spyce Blog Banners (10)-1

The Challenge

POA is a church that’s full of life. Every week, hundreds of people come together—whether in person or online—to worship, grow, and connect.

They already had a strong community. But they needed a website that made it easier for people to:

  • Find service times quickly

  • Watch online messages

  • Join a group or ministry

  • Get in touch or plan a visit

We weren’t just making something that looked nice—we had to make something that worked for everyone, whether it was someone visiting for the first time or a long-time member looking for updates.

The Objective

The goal was to create a website that makes it easy for anyone—whether they're new or part of the POA family—to get involved, find information fast, and feel connected right away.

We wanted the site to be clear, welcoming, and built with purpose:

  • Easy to navigate on any device
  • A clean setup that the POA team can easily update on their own
  • Designed to help people plan visits, join groups, and engage in worship

Everything needed to support POA’s heart for people—and make every visitor feel at home the moment they land on their website.

The Approach & Execution

We started with the big picture: What does someone feel the moment they step into POA?

That feeling—warm, intentional, spirit-led—is what we designed the site to reflect.

We structured the homepage around clear next steps: plan a visit, join a group, watch a service, give, or reach out. Every decision was made to reduce friction and create connection.

  • Navigation was kept intuitive and mobile-first.

  • Content was rewritten to speak directly to real people.

  • Events, media, and ministries were given a central spotlight.

  • And we built everything on a strong backend to support updates as POA continues to grow.

It wasn’t just about design—it was about shaping an experience that could live up to the in-person one.

The Results

POA now has a digital space that finally feels like them.

  • First-time guests can explore, feel prepared, and take that first step with ease.

  • Members can access what they need—groups, schedules, messages—without second-guessing.

  • Media is more accessible, and online ministry is expanding beyond the walls.

  • Most importantly, the mission is clear from the first click: this is a church ready to welcome and walk with you.
